Essay on the Carbon Cycle

Today in class you need to write an essay on the following topic:

" Discuss one way that humans are affecting the Carbon Cycle"  You could choose to discuss deforestation, or the combustion of fossil fuels

Think about:
  • Talking about what the carbon cycle is
  • Defining important terms (like carbon, fossil fuel, combustion, deforestation)
  • Talking about HOW the activity you are discussing affects the carbon cycle - is it putting the amounts of carbon in different areas out of balance?
  • Discuss how this might affect humans now, and in the future
  • What is your opinion? What can we do to solve the problem?
What you have to do:
  • Write an essay (write it on paper) IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
  • Post it as a comment on this posting, with your name.
  • Look at everyone else's essays
  • Vote for the one you think is the best
If you have finished all of this, and handed in your sheet to Miss Daniel,  you can use the following games to help you revise for the end of topic test (Remember its next Tuesday!)

Essay On How Humans Effect The Carbon Cycle.

Introduction:
This essay is about how Deforestation affects the Carbon Cycle.

Deforestation means the cutting of trees and forests; and setting fire to them and burning them.

Deforestation affects the Carbon cycle by causing animals to lose their habitats/homes; and even causing them to die. There’s also not as much greenery as there would have been if people didn’t cut down forests and trees.

A solution for the future of Deforestation, could be to cut down on the amounts of trees we cut down for our use…(make do with little amounts.)

Woops forgot to post the thingy
DeforestationI am doing this essay on how deforestation affects humans.

The carbon cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which carbon is exchanged among the biosphere, pedosphere , geosphere , hydrosphere & atmosphere on earth.

Deforestation is the logging and burning of trees in a forested area. Deforestation is also known as fusion people do this because tree’s sometimes have charcoal inside them.

Because the carbon cycle needs trees to turn the Co₂ to turn it into oxygen and without trees or plants that use photosynthesis there would be no oxygen

We could stop this by making people stop cutting down trees and make people get a permit to cut down a number trees per year

In conclusion to this I think that without forests and the trees human and animal life wouldn’t exist on earth

The explotation of fossil fuels and the combustion of such fuels are putting an immense strain on the carbon cyle.

The carbon cylcle is a process in which carbon is passed from organism to organism to plant and turned in to fossil fuels.

The combustion of fossil fuels are when things such as oil are burned for energy.

The combustion of fossil fuels affect the carbon cycle by putting extra strain on it due to the amount of extra carbon dioxide
put into the cylce thus things such as plants cannot produce enough oxygen.

There are many ways to fix this a few ideas are the use of altenative fuels, Hybrid cars, Car pooling or you could use public transport.

So in conclusion the combustion of fossil fuels are alterning the carbon cycle and if immediate action is not taken this will lead to disaterous affects in the near future.

Essay on how humans affect the carbon cycle.

my essay is on how deforestation affects the carbon cycle and the process of it.

The carbon cycle explains how carbon is passed through plants, people and soil.

Deforestation is the cutting and burning down of trees in forests.

This affects the carbon cycle because the more trees we get rid of, the more complicated it is for carbon to be passed through the cycle.

In conclusion, my opinion towards deforestation is that it should come to an end because it is disturbing the way carbon is exchanged through soil, plants and people.

IntroductionThis esay is about deforestation and how it is affecting the carbon cycle.

The Carbon Cycle The carbon cycle is how CO2 is put from the air into something and the cycle it takes to get back in to the air.

DeforestationDefoestation is burning trees in a forest area. This is done for many reasons such as making coal.

How This Affects The Carbon CycleBy burning the trees we will have less so there will be more carbon dioxide in the air and less places for animlas to live ,so there will be less animals and then we will have nothing to eat and die.

Future Solution? Your Opinion? In the future if pepole have to burn trees for coal or land I think that they should replant the same amount of trees somewhere else.

ConclusionIn conclustion burning trees is bad because it will affect the carbon cycle in a big way.

introduction:
my essay is a deforesation
and how human'suse it to help
the carbon cycle.

the carbon cycle:
the carbon in the air hellps the planet by photosynthesis , the animal's and plants produce respiration back into the air ..

deforesation:
is when you cut tree's and plants down.

how does deforsation effect the carbon cycle?
it effects because if there is less tree's there is less photosynthesisand then there is more carbon dioxide in the air .

This essay is about how humans effect the carbon cycle.

The carbon cycle is when sunlight and carbon dioxide gets incorporated into a plants living system using photosynthesis. The plants and animals respirate. The animals die and decay. If they die, They dont respirate so they become fossil fuels, but this takes thousands of years. The fossil fuels get burnt using combustion, so theres more carbon in the air.

Deforestation is when trees in a forest get cut down. This affects the carbon cycle because the trees turn the carbon dioxide into oxygen,so if theres not enough trees, there'll be alot more carbon dioxide in the air.

In the future, humans shouldn't cut down alot of trees because they help with the carbon cycle.

In conclusion, I think that trees shouldn't get cut down because there would be more oxygen and the carbon cycle wouldn't get affected.

DEFORESTATION

This essay is about deforestation and how deforestation affects the carbon cycle. Firstly the carbon cycle, the carbon cycle is a difficult process which carbon atoms rotate. Secondly deforestation, deforestation is an ongoing destruction of forests and trees. The reason for this is pretty simple, basically because they need wood to build other things such as houses, farms, roads, buildings ect… without thinking about how this can effect the carbon cycle or other animals in the environment. Some of the effects this has on the carbon cycle are, less carbon dioxide (CO2) in certain areas, a lot of animals left without homes and eventually end up dead. We could fix this by not cutting down as much trees or forests or we should just live with what we have instead of living with what we want.

Im writing my essay on how humans effect the enviroment by Deforestation.

The carbon cycle is the biogeochemical cycal and exchanges with the biosphere. Carbon is the fourth most abandant element on the earth which is needed for life on earth.

Deforestation is when humans cut trees down for logging, buring fires, and natural uses like buliding houses.

Deforestation effects the carbon cycle because there are less trees to convert carbon (co2) into oxygen (O2)therefore creating more carbon then oxygen.

My future solution is for more people to use recycled wood and for people to plant trees to help the enviroment.

In concluion the enviroment is lossing trees and this is being effected to the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere.

deforestation- is the burning and logging of forestry areas.
these effects of deforestaion are
*extinction
*climate changes
*desertification
*and the creation of waste lands
why do we use deforestaion what do we get from it?
from deforestaion, we are able to gather fossil fules on which we use in our every day life some fossil fules we get deforestation is charcoal.
charcoal is black resedue of impure carbon.
charcoal is used for
*cooking fules-outdoor grilling
*industrial fules-smelting iron
*automotive fules
*purification/filteration
*art
*horiculture
consumption- charcoal biscuits
*smoking- burning tabacco

but by destroying our forrest and gathering resources we are also disturbing the carbon cycle with out trees producing oxygen how will we breathe anbd gather nutrients?.

How humans Effect the carbon Cycle.

Intro
This essay i about Deforestation and the way that humans are affecting the carbon cycle.

DEFORESTATION: is the logging and burning in a forested area .

The carbon cycle is basically how everything wirks and connects by using the earth and its atmosphere.it is also to indicate how much carbon is stored in various reservoirs and also indicate how much carbon moves between reservoirs each year.

There are several reasons why humans do so , eg Charcoal and paper. Humans use alot of paper for Writing, Printing and packaging Materials etc
In many countries , deforestation is an ongoing issue whichis causing extinction and changes the climatic conditions.

If we didnt have Deforestation we would be a healthier population a greener land and more animals. For we need the trees and plants to help us breath for it is a source of oxygen. Many animals have become extinct. With Deforstation it changes and there is more carbon in the air and if it keeps going there will be to much carbon in the air and it wont go to the earth for example we would run out of petrol. ( fossil fuels )

In the future we should decrease the Deforestation rates and live Healthier With claener oxygen and no carbon in th air .

In conclusion Humans affect the carbon cycle by Deforestation and Waste. its not good to see what might happen in the future if this goes on.

introduction
my essay is about the carbon cycle and how deforestation effects it

the carbon cycle it is the circulation of carbon from the atmosphere to organisms and back again

my topic deforestation is from removing trees with no reforestation afterwards.

How this affects the carbon cycle.
When there are no trees it puts more cabron dioxide in the air because there are no trees to hold the carbon dioxide.

Future solutions:
I think when you cut down one tree two more should be planted.

Conclusion:
We are aloud to cut down trees as long as you plant two more.

I will be writing about how does deforestation affects the carbon cycle.

The carbon cycle is a process of the photosynthesis, respiration, decomposers and buring of fossil fuel

Desforestation is logging and buring of the forest area- There are several reason for doing so such as rotting trees turned into charcoal to be sold and can be used trees to make human settlement.

Deforestation affects the carbon cycle by less carbon dioxide stored up.

In the future people should cut less trees and plant more trees as you cut.
In conclusion if we cut all the trees there will be less carbon dioxide to store but this can be prevented by planting more.

Introduction:
Im doing my essay on how Deforestation effects the carbon cycle.

The elements carbon is one of the main materials sugar, proteins and fats.
Sugar, proteins and fats make up the tissues of all living organisms

Because the carbon cycle needs trees to turn the Co₂ to turn it into oxygen and without trees or plants that use photosynthesis there would be no oxygen

we should hav a limit of trees cutting down each year

conclusion
I think without trees animals wouldnt be here on earth

My essay is about deforestation and how it is affecting the carbon cycle.

The Carbon cycle: Humans impact the carbon cycle whilst the burning of fossil fuels is happening, which include oil, coal, or natural gas. Fossil Fuels were formed thousands of years ago by animal or plants remains that were burried, squished and transformed into oil, coal or natural gas. The Carbon is said to be fixed in place and is essentially locked out of the natural carbon cycle.

Deforestation: Deforestation is the logging and burning of trees in a forested area by humans. Humans do this because trees or derived charcoal can be sold as an article of trade and are used by humans while cleared forest land is used as plantations such as plants and trees, and as Human settlement.

How this affects the Carbon Cycle?
When trees are cut down they dont absorb carbon dioxide which means their would be more carbon dioxide in the air which is bad for humans animals and plants.

Future solutions?
For Humans to stop cutting down trees in a major quantity and land that isnt being used, humans should plant more trees.

Conclusion: In conclusion deforestation is bad for the enviroment and it should stop because its affecting the Carbon Cycle and living things such as Humans, Plants and animals.

Deforestation

Introduction.
I’m going to talk about deforestation; Deforestation is the logging and burring of trees in a forest area.
Carbon cycle:
The carbon cycle impact humans during composition of any type of fossil fuel that may include Oil, coal or any natural gases. Fossil fuels were formed very long ago From the remains of a plant or a animal that was buried.

Definition of deforestation: e.g. to clear the forest of their trees.
- The cutting down of trees and removal in a forest area, Deforestation can make soil crumble under your foot. It also can pollute water ways

Who does affect the carbon cycle ?
There would be more CO2 if there weren’t any trees, If there were trees then there is going to be less CO2 because trees use CO2 in photosynthesis

Conclusion.

Without trees then there would be to much CO2 with trees there’s to much

Deforestation affects the carbon cycle which affects the humans and the earth’s atmosphere.
The carbon cycle is the process in which the carbon moves from the atmosphere to the plants, plants to animals, animals to thee ground, ground (fossil fuels) to the atmosphere when fuels are burned then the process continues.
Deforestation is a permanent destruction of thee forests and woodlands.
It affects thee carbon cycle because thee tress take carbon dioxide in and thee humans exhale it. When there’s lesser human beings surviving the lesser thee forests will be. Both of them need each others gases.
Plant more trees through the process of reforestation.

DEFORESTATION

Intro
Deforestation is affecting the world drasticly. We are losing forests rapidly. This proccess is affecting the Carbon Cycle and destroying the Earths Atmosphere.

Carbon Cycle The Carbon cycle is the process were carbon is exchanged among the Earth and Organisims showing the 7 signs of life.

Deforestation Deforestation is the permanent Destruction of indigenous forests. This process does not include the removal of industrial forests which are grown for removal to make paper and other things. The rate at which deforestation is occurring is horrible . Currently, 12 million hectares of forests are cleared annually - an area 3 times the size of the North Island! Almost all of this deforestation occurs in the moist forests and open woodlands of the tropics. At this rate all moist tropical forest could be lost by the year 2050.

How this affects the Carbon Cycle Forests act as a major carbon holder because carbon dioxide (CO2) is taken up from the atmosphere and used to produce the carbohydrates, fats, and proteins that make up the tree. When forests are removed, and the trees are either burnt or rotten, this carbon is released as CO2. This leads to an increase in the Earths CO2 amount. CO2 is the major contributor to the greenhouse gases. It is estimated that deforestation contributes one-third of all CO2 releases caused by people.

Future Solutions
I think that we should stop cutting down forests because alot of our Oxygen (O2) comes form trees and we will eventually need all the oxygen.

Conclusion Deforestation has resulted in the removal of indigenous forests to four-fifths of their pre-agricultural area. Indigenous forests now cover 21% of the earth's land surface. We dont want the 21% to come down to about 1%.
